As you know, you can promote your web site by paying Google to display your ad on its SERP (search engine results page) whenever a Google query for a keyword or keyword phrase that you bid and got approved for becomes underway.

However, some cyberspace visitors who use Google ignore the paid ads and instead look at the organic (unpaid for) results. There is one easy way to do SEO and therefore attain page rank supremacy that doesn’t require much skill on your part. This SEO trick is akin to standing on the shoulders of giants precisely because you base your SEO strategy on those pages that have already attained your goal: high Google page rank rating.

In this smart way of attaining Google SEO, the first thing that you need to do is think about the keyword(s) that you wish to gain high page rank rating for. Once you have this information, do an organic search on Google for that keyword(s) to see which pages have Google’s highest ranking. Open these pages and see what they are doing right. Check their keyword density and their layout, while you’re at it.

The next step that you should do is find sites which link to these high ranking pages. This is the most tedious part of this smart Google SEO way, but the result will be most assuredly worth the effort. Once you find the pages that point towards your “model” pages, assess them according to the following criteria:
• Relevance: their content and purpose must be related and relevant to yours. In particular, their links page must contain the keywords you are targeting.
• Google page rank: their page rank rating must be significant in your category/keyword. Check their links page for page rank rating, too.
• Outbound links: they must not have too many outbound links that any link will not be prominently displayed.

After you have drawn a list of sites which pass the above criteria, get one-way links from these sites. If you succeed in this endeavor, you will most assuredly gain a higher page rank in the keyword(s) you are targeting.
