Why Google Sandbox Your Adsense Website

Before dwelling any further into this topic, you need to understand what a sandbox is. A sandbox is a term referred to as space where your site usually stays while being monitored by Google for spamming and other illegal activities. At this point you will see that Google personnel checks and monitors your site from time to time. This will last for a month or two in some situations.

Google’s Sandbox

There is actually no evidence of the sandbox in any search engine but with Google alone. Once Google suspects a site to be a spammer it is sandboxed right away. The sandbox is not designed to ban your site but to deliberate on its consistency and legitimacy. A site that is sandboxed is run over a series of tests until Google proves that your site is legitimate.

Works on Adsense Sites, Too

There are some instances where web publishers experience the sandbox working on their Adsense sites. This could be noticed if you monitor the IP addresses of incoming traffic to your site. Once you have noticed that a certain IP address visits your site too often and it does not come alone, its time to check where the IP address points to. Once you discovered that it’s a Google IP address this could mean that they are watching your site.

For Your Own Protection

Adsense sandbox is triggered by some factors. This might include Google suspecting illegal click gathering for the Adsense. Again let me emphasis that they are doing this to protect you as an affiliate. Thus, you don’t need to worry unless you are doing something fishy. They do this to ensure that all players are competing fairly and are not cheating Adwords investors. You basically do not need to fuss about this. Rather you should be thankful that Google is exerting a lot of efforts to do this.

You would even notice changes on your Adsense format during the sandbox period. Do not fuss over it. If you want, you can just report this to Google and they will happily explain their reasons for doing so. Google will test your site again and again until they have proved its legitimacy.

For Improvements

The good thing about undergoing the sandbox stage is that if Google runs it you are sure to experience a high degree of traffic. While under sandbox, your site is under Google’s spotlight so it will definitely optimize your site’s efficiency.

Aside from this, major improvements would be implemented on your Adsense site to compensate for the glitch that might have triggered your site to be placed in the sandbox in the first place. So if you are not doing anything wrong, there is no reason for you to worry about being included in the sandbox. Again this process is created to protect you and not to persecute you. That is of course assuming that you are not doing anything illegal and fraudulent.

Sandbox for Google Adsense may exist or not. Nobody has ever proven that sandbox for sites and Adsense accounts really exist. However, one thing is for sure: all of these things are implemented to provide you with outstanding service and you should be happy about it.
