Google Toolbar a disappointment

Posted by | July 8, 2007 | Reviews, What is what

I downloaded Google Toolbar for the first time because I wanted to review it but it was a big disappointment. I had to log in to bookmark websites and that will take to long time. The block pop I already have in IE 7 and I do not need it one more time. The only thing that I actually wanted was the PageRank checker but it did not show numbers it only showed a bar meter and I had to guess the number or check it some where else. I also noticed it made my computer slower and it ate a lot of my memory and the Google sidebar already does that. No Google really have to come up with some new stuff if they want me to download that again.

I tend to disagree. The new google toolbar has a “sign in” on the right.
Also, with the firefox add-on gmail manager, I’ve added my email to be checked on startup, hence I’m logged in once I click on the big red icon 🙂
The pagerank in text version, say 6/10, is shown when you hover the bar.

I must say that you haven’t even looked at its bonus features, like importing from firefox bookmarks etc.

Try a free and useful browser next time, IE 7 isn’t a solution, it’s a problem-maker if you ask moi.
