Matt Cutts from Google gave some advice about white hat Search Engine Optimization Tricks for WordPress on the 2007 word camp.

Most of what he did not talk was the Google Dance that everybody want to know when the PageRank is going to be updated but he told the bloggers some interesting things.

Don’t use the main domain as your blog use a /blog or whatever name you like but not WordPress like I did here on my Thailand Blog.

Use good SEO friendly category names.

Use Stephan Spencer’s SEO Title plug-in

Do the standard pings and make sure you send out RSS

He also said that please mark all pictures, video and audio its going to be important for the future.
