If you want to start as a webmaster you need a FTP Program to connect to your sever.
Some editing programs like FrontPage and others have a FTP include but a real FTP program is always better when you start editing the pages your self.

There is many options on the market but one small totally free FTP program I found useful when I was starting up is this one.
