I got a warning letter from Google about my pictures to close to the ads. So i am pretty busy now fixing it and making them right. I know it is difficult to know all the news from Google but I knew about this I just been too lazy to fix it. But now it is done.

Hello,

While reviewing your account, we noticed that you are currently displaying Google ads in a manner that is not compliant with our policies. For instance, we found violations of AdSense policies on pages such as Send Free SMS

Publishers may not implement Google ads in a manner that disguises the ads in any way, for instance, by formatting neighboring content to look similar to the ads, or by making ads look like games or forum threads. Additionally, publishers may not attempt to associate specific images with the individual ads appearing on their sites. Such an implementation may confuse users who assume that the image is directly related to the advertiser’s offerings.

As a result, we have disabled ad serving to the site.

Your AdSense account remains active. However, we strongly suggest that you take the time to review our program policies (https://www.google.com/adsense/policies ) to ensure that all of your remaining pages are in compliance.

Please note that we may disable your account if further violations are found in the future.

Sincerely,

The Google AdSense Team

Wise Up on Google SERP

Wise Up on Google SERP

Before a long-winded lecture on SERP and what it means to you, a definition of the term should be first on the agenda. SERP stands for Search Engine Results Page. Thus, Google SERP obviously refers to Google search engine results page and you get this every time you make an inquiry using the Google search bar. For every query, there can be thousands of SERPs. Each SERP contains a list of about 10 web page names on the left and some sponsored links on the right. Each web page entry, paid or unpaid, has a short description and a link that will direct you to a particular web page.

With that said, what are the things that you should know about Google SERP?

Being on top of SERP can increase high web traffic.
The first SERP you see when you make a certain keyword or keyword phrase query through Google contains the top-ranking sites on Google’s index for that particular keyword or keyword phrase. In other words, Google deems these pages to be the most relevant to your query. If you are a typical web searcher, you are going to click on the sites you see first, right?

Thus, sites having high page rank ratings and are therefore included on the first SERP have a very high likelihood of gaining more visitors and thereby increasing web traffic. However, this is not a given.

There are cyberspace visitors who do not go through Google search or use any search engine. Just as there are multiple ways to skin a cat, there are many ways of getting to a web page. Links from other web sites are one way and so are links coming from web directories. Paid or sponsored ads all over the web can also increase a web site’s traffic. Having a high page rank, therefore, can increase web site traffic, but this is in no way guaranteed.

Participating in Google paid advertising promotes your web site.
Yes, it does. Paid advertising can become a very powerful web promotion tool. When you pay Google to display your ads, your web site becomes more exposed to internet visitors and your web site’s traffic may consequently rise.

However, there’s one misconception that you should rid your mind of now. Becoming part of Google Adwords and Google Adsense programs will not increase your ranking in SERP. Again, paid advertising will not have any impact whatsoever in your search engine results page ranking. You may be part of the first SERP because you paid for the spot, but your page rank rating did not increase on account of that.

Google stands by its conviction that search engine queries should return results that are fair and unbiased, with the ultimate aim to satisfy the search engine users. Your site’s relevance to a query is going to be determined by the Google spider and its page rank algorithm. This algorithm does not consider how much you are paying Google in advertising fees.

This means that if you want to have a high page rank rating so as to be on top of Google SERP for your industry or niche market, you have to do some really clever search engine optimization, and that’s that.
