There are some huge players out there like Movable Type and Google’s own system but the best one we found is off course we using now and that is Word Press. Try to avoid any small blogging system if they do not have a big community supporting them because the support maybe very slow or none existing.
Word Press is free to use and it has loads of plug in and templates for you to install and most of them are free as well. Some people ask for a link back and other doesn’t. Word Press is constantly updated and you can see the updates when you log in to your Word Press Dashboard. How do I find out a domains hosting company?
Sometimes you happened to see a fast server that you like to know who is behind this fast site. It can also be the opposite they are spamming you and you have to find out who is the host behind the domain to report an abuse.
To find out the domain hosting company, you can go to any number of whois lookup websites like http://www.internic.net/whois.html and just enter the domain name.
This will show you their nameservers, which will most likely be their host’s, but there’s a possibility they have private nameservers which will hide their host’s name servers in place of their own.
Another way to go around that is http://whois.domaintools.com/xxxxxxx putting the server instead of xxxxx.
Do not make the same mistake as one of my clients did. They paid over 10 000 $ for a website they could not use. Well they can use it but it is full with flaws. Before you even hire a programmer check the market. Go to places like Script Lance and check the real price for the product your doing. In this case dating sites there is 100 of dating script for the fraction of the price and if you still not happy then you can hire a programmer to change the script for you. But it will never be this much money if you not building a new Google site or something.
