It is important to have a little bit of both in your blog. I for example have not got much of script and themes people can download and I should. Blog bait is a very easy thing to use to get people to link to you.
The Blog of Webmasters has several nice tips on SEO and other Webmaster related issued and they also have a few free script and themes for free downloading so when you use them. The Webmaster blog will get a link back and in the end more exposure on Google and more traffic.
The blog has a clean and easy layout and it very easy to read (yeah I know my blog sucks) and it inspires me to get going with my own layout.
Maybe I am missing a recent post on the blog or a highlight of the most important post I think would drive more traffic.
I have not tested Bidvertiser.com webmaster program yet but it looks very good. I think I am going to try it very soon especially now when they have a new promotion.
